She is deeply motivated by the desire to transform the traditional classroom into a more dynamic, technology supported environment as she understands the transformative power of various strategies and tools such as Virtual Reality and educational games.
From her experience, Ms. Lewis started an educational technology company, JOIE Innovative Learning Solutions Inc. The company focuses on the use of Virtual Reality to teach Mathematics and Science. The technology used allows students to be immersed in a 3D environment that can be real or simulated.
