GREEN ENGINEERING
Presenter: Wayne Prescod
Wayne received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies in 1991 and joined the Barbados Light & Power Company (BL&P) Limited shortly afterwards. During his tenure, he has worked as part of the team at the Transport Board in the introduction of electric buses to Barbados and has had many years’ experience with the maintenance and operating procedures of the Company’s generating plant.
Currently, Wayne is the Senior Engineering Manager with responsibility for Generation Operations at the BL&P. In this role he is responsible for the safe and efficient dispatch of the Company’s generation fleet.
